Dear CDA Families:
COVID-19 Update
RE-Opening CDA
Phase 1: After more research, we will only be opening the studio for Solos Duets Trios starting Monday May 18. Please contact your teacher to set up times and please understand, that some teachers may not be ready or able to move forward right now. We are leaving the decision to practice at the studio up to the teacher & parents. As of now, we are able to allow entry into the building. We ask that everyone use 6ft distancing awareness. All parents are asked to remain in your vehicle and teachers will meet students at the door to take their temperature (99.9+). Everyone should wear a mask until physical activity begins. We ask you do not bring anyone to the studio that may be or has recently ran a fever or has any symptoms of any illness.
Phase 2: Governor Hutchinson is making an announcement in regards to “Team & Youth Sports” on May 20th. As per your feedback, we will visit our options based on his announcement in regards to recreational & competition group rehearsals/classes.
Recital
As of today, Mayor Kincade has given us permission to use the police department parking lot to set up our stage and sound equipment for our outdoor recital performance still scheduled for June 13th. This date may change depending on our access to return to classes.

Nationals, Jun 23-28 St. Louis
Based on the feedback we’ve received, we will not be taking all competitive routines to Nationals. If anyone is interested in taking Solos, Duets, Trios, possibly some groups please let us know. We feel at this time is in too much to ask everyone to make that financial commitment and health risk at this time. Your feedback really helped us know what you guys were thinking.
TakeTwo TOP-Hot Springs, Aug 7-9
We would like to take ALL competitive groups to this competition. We understand there may be some who are unable to attend, but if we are able to make it happen, we would like to do it.
Lastly….
Thank you! Thank you for supporting CDA, allowing your dancers to participate, paying tuition, keeping things positive, and caring about our well-being. Lisa and I appreciate your business more than you could ever imaging and we LOVE your kids even more! This is our dream and without you and your babies, it would not be possible. Please pray with us that we have some normalcy soon, so we can see everyone and get back to dancing!!
Thank you,
Ms. Tonya & Ms. Lisa

Guideline CDA is following for "Opening Up America Again" is to return to the studio during Phase 2 of the three-phase approach as advised by public health officials. If everything goes as planned we will return to the studio on Monday, May 18th and continue zoom classes and provide updated YouTube Recital videos until then.
